Well my idea is:
EACH ONE PLANT ONE (tree)
EACH ONE DONATE ONE (unit of blood)
EACH ONE HELP ONE (person from other region, religion or faith)
40 new rotaractors per country (needs coordinated effort)
Though numbered, the ideas below are of no particular order...Just my ideas tonight...I'll post again if "great ideas" will pop-up in my mind....
1. On-line Contest About Great Ideas on How to Celebrate Rotaract 40th Anniversary
a. There should be sponsors and prizes that may come from within and outside Rotary-Rotaract family for great marketing and exposure
b. This should be spearheaded by RI Rotaract Committee and should target Rotaractors and non-Rotaractors around the world to establish our organization’s Internationality
c. This maybe in the form of Blog
2. Commemorative Stamp / Postcards about Rotaract 40th Rotaract Anniversary
3. RI Rotaract Committee should suggest a fund raising event on March 13 that will target non-Rotarians and Rotaractors as audience for example a concert….
a. There should be TV coverage like MTV…and probably famous young figures like Prince William
b. The event should be featured also in prominent TV programs like Larry King, Oprah,
c. The raised fund can be donated to Paul Harris / Polio / or start a new focus to fund for Rotaractors but should still be based from RI Thrusts
4. Commemorative 40thAnniversary Rotaract Website that links to Districts/Clubs website (official or unofficial).
a. This is for Rotaractors and interested non-Rotaractors to have link for queries.
b. This should be maintained for about 5-10 years
5. A Commemorative Book about Rotaract 40th Rotaract Anniversary
a. This may contain famous Rotaractors, major accomplishments and contributions, etc.,
6. An Essay Writing Contest Worldwide about Rotaract 40th Rotaract Anniversary
7. Rotaract 40th Anniversary Fellows
a. This is an award for distinguished Rotaractors and Rotarians that exemplified deep commitment and contributions to the growth and promotion of Rotaract.
8. Other Commemorative Items like bags, pins, bannerettes, mugs, etc.

In D1070 we are holding a Rotaract 40th Anniversary Sunday Lunch on 6th April.
Rotaractors and Rotarians (+ guests) are invited, and in particular past Rotaractors who are now Rotarians, past Rotaractors who are not yet Rotarians, past Rotarian Rotaract Officers (Club and Dist).
All attendees are encouraged to bring Rotaract memorabilia from the past 40 years. There will be displays from all the clubs in D1070 and we also hope to show some old film from a past Multi District (RGBI)Annual conference from some years ago.
Any other ideas to make the event even better very welcome!
